Olive Gibbs, born in West Oxford, was a local Labour politician, peace campaigner, and founding member of the CND. Throughout her political career, Olive supported the Oxford community. From stopping a major road from being built through Christ Church Meadow to being instrumental in the demolition of the infamous Cuttleslowe Walls.
