A talk on the Oxford women’s suffrage movement and how local Suffragettes caused as much drama in Oxfordshire as elsewhere in the country.
Dr Katherine Bradley give talks on various aspects of women’s history to local history societies through the Oxfordshire Local History Society. Dr Bradley was a history lecturer at Oxford Brookes and the Open University and also taught women’s history courses at Denman College. She was also the co-founder of the Oxford International Women’s Festival.
