Foraging walk with Ebony Gheorghe

Loading Events

Join us for a foraging walk with Ebony Gheorghe!

Looking to learn more about the plants around you and how they can be safely collected and used? Join us for this relaxed walk in the city centre. Ebony will share her knowledge about edible and medicinal plants and herbs that can be found in our local area. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, take photos, and connect with like-minded people.

Please note this walk focuses on sharing tips and foraging best practice advice, rather than picking plants on the day.

The walk will take place in Grandpont Nature Park. The meeting point is Oxpens Meadow, by the Oxford Ice Rink. Please arrive a few minutes early as we’ll be setting off at 10am.

Please note the donation is optional; if you’d rather book a free ticket, you can do so by phoning the museum at 01865 252334.

Part of exhibition programming for ‘Oxford Digs In: Our Food Stories’.
