How to find us

The Museum of Oxford is situated inside Oxford Town Hall, in the centre of Oxford on St Aldate’s.

Access at the Museum

The Museum of Oxford is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The level entrance to Oxford Town Hall is located to the left facing the main entrance (north towards Carfax Tower). There are accessible toilets on the ground floor of the Town Hall and in the basement floor of the Museum. Travelling to the Museum of Oxford

By public transport
We’re a short walk from Gloucester Green bus station and Oxford Railway Station, and many local buses stop directly outside the Town Hall on St Aldates.

By car
If you are travelling to Oxford by car, we recommend using the city Park and Ride services. Both the 300 and 400 Park & Ride buses stop on St Aldates. Our access page provides more information on accessible parking in Oxford city centre.
