Learn about Sarah Cooper, whose 1874 marmalade recipe became a huge hit in Oxford and beyond.  Use hessian from another thriving local business as the blank canvas on which you’ll stitch your own marmalade-inspired picture using yarn and pipe cleaners.

Sessions are led by Kate Castleden.

There are 3 sessions throughout the day: 11.00-12.00, 13.00-14.00, 14.30-15.30.

Please make sure to arrive on time. We allow a 10 minute grace period for late arrivals. After this point, we cannot guarantee admission to the activity.

This workshop is suitable for ages 5-11. Children must be supervised at all times.

Tickets cost £3 per child and can be purchased online via the website or at the Museum Shop. Each child ticket includes free entry for one accompanying adult. This event ticket includes access to the Galleries for one child and one adult.
