Relaxed Fantastic Fairground Family Crafts

Loading Events

This is an activity adapted for families with members on the autistic spectrum or those who will benefit from engaging with the activity in a calmer space. Prebooking is essential due to the limited capacity of relaxed events.

Join us at MOX for a relaxed morning of family fun and crafts to celebrate A Way of Life: The People behind St Giles Fair, our new exhibition exploring the history of our local fun fair and the Showman’s community. Learn about the history of the fantastic fairs and make a carousel craft to take home.

This craft is suitable for those aged 5-12, but all ages are welcome. Children must be supervised by an adult during the event.

The craft is self-led, so families are able to engage at their own pace. There will be no background music and a separate quiet space available. You may come and go at anytime. You will be provided with a visual story a week before the event to support your visit. If you have any specific questions regarding accessibility or just want to get in touch, please email Charlotte.

Our later session will be at increased capacity with background music.
