Rip, draw, stamp, paint, collage! Zines are for everyone and can be made about just about anything.
Join talented local artist Etain O’Carroll to get stuck in and make your own zines and comics, from simple materials, with amazing results. Using collage materials inspired by our latest exhibition, A Way of Life: The People behind St Giles Fair, you will follow Etain in mastering the folds to make your own paper booklet and then let your creativity run wild!
All materials will provided at the workshop, but you are welcome to bring your own photos, cut-outs or old magazines to use.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 and upwards. Older children will be able to explore more advanced paper folding methods with Etain’s guidance.
